Qlik Sense Hub: The Service did not respond or could not process the request.

Hi all,

I can't enter the hub after installation of Qlik Sense Server 3.1. The description message is: The Service did not respond or could not process the request.

I'm having a migration problem too. When I try to import an app fails, I think that could be related with the hub error, isn't it?

I don't know what can I do, I've tried a lot of things, remove certificates, allow the access via http, setting up the ip of the machine in the white list, restarting services and a reparing installation but nothing works for me. And yes, I'm Domain Administrator.

Any help with that?

The server is a W2012 R2 Standard x64. It's empty, only have installed Qlik Sense.

The Qlik Sense Server version is 3.1

Thank's in advance.

Eric, in my case, my qlik consultant said the opposite and it works for me.

So what I do is:

1.- Uninstall Qlik Sense and restart the server.

2.- Create a user account to start Qlik Sense services. The user will need

administrator rights.

3.- Install last version of Qlik Sense without change the name of the

server in the installation process and configure the user account created

to start the Qlik Services.

4.- Open ports in Windows Firewall (or other firewall you have installed

like Nod32, Kaspersky or whatever)

5.- Test if hub and QMC works in local (it's possible that hub and QMC

needs a few extra minutes when the installation process ends)

6.- If works, try the external connection. If don't work, open ports in

your EXSi private cloud firewall.

Hope this help you.

Hi Eric, can you attach some log file? The hub and QMC is in both, external

and internal, down?

Did you open the ports in your cloud? You can use this webpage to test if

they are open: https://www.internautas.org/w-scanonline.php

Which URL are you using (in local) o access the hub or QMC?

Hi,

I had the same issue and I don't know why but it came from the offline status of my server. When I turn on the network back it worked well again.

May be the server sends internet request to check some updates?

Does somebody have an idea?

Regards.

Jordi,

I had the same issue, but found that hitting F5 brought up the hub after a few seconds.
