User in Session Log with no CAL assigned

Hi all,

I was wondering if somebody could help me with this...

The fact is that in my session log it is appearing an entry for a user that has neither document CAL nor Named Cal assigned

and we do not allow dynamic CAL assigment. So, How could it be possible?

The "Cal Type" for this entry is "None" and "Exit Reason" is "Socket closed by client".

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Sergio.

Sergio, another point of view that could be possible:

'Socket closed by client' means something other that the server terminated the session.  User closed the brownser, someone restarted IIS, etc.

User should not be opening document. There will be a entry for non licensing user also in the log file, but ideally he will not be accessing the documents until unless it's logically possible.

Double check with the user also on this please.

Hi Fernando,

I will try to open a document with a user without cal assigned so as to confirm if an entry is created in the log as you mentioned.

Thank you very much!

You are right Fernando!

It is not a session, it's an entry indicateing an access denied because of lack of CAL.

Thank you very much Fernando, I really apprecciate your help.

Regards,

Sergio.
