Loading sas7bdat file in QlikView

Hello All,

I am having sas7bdat file with me and I want to load this into QlikView. I have installed a SAS connector but not able to understand how to use and load the file in QlikView.

Can anyone assist me with the same?

Regards,

Imran Khan

Peter I tried the same and followed all the steps. After clicking on Connect, one connection window pops up and ask for login and password which i don't know and don't know where to find it.

I have one file in sas7bdat format like we have file in excel format.

Maybe this is something for you then:

Snippet from StackOverflow:

It is also possible to use the SAS provider for OLE DB to read SAS datasets without actually having SAS installed, and that's available here:

http://support.sas.com/downloads/browse.htm?fil=0&cat=64

However, this is rather complicated - some documentation is available here if you want to get an idea:

http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/oledbpr/59558/PDF/default/oledbpr.pdf

You can find the entire info that I snipped at this site: hadoop - How to convert sas7bdat file to csv? - Stack Overflow
