nPrinting and Section Access

Can anyone explain exactly how Section Access is supposed to work in nPrinting 17.2?

You specify an identity and have a check box to use Section Access on the connector setup.  I don't see anything anywhere else that refers to this.

So:

1.  Does this mean that whoever you enter for the identity sets what data will be pulled by the connection?

2.  Or does the connection still access all of the data but it is limited in the actual report when it is run or published? If this is the case is the data limited by the user you are sending the report to?

I have not been able to find anything that really explains this process.

Hej,

If there's a section access on the document you are connecting to, the account used in the data connection  setup  will only get the data that specific account have access to.

Further on, you can limit the data set  when sending out reports in many different ways:

I am currently in the process of getting this implemented as well and documentation is a little vague thus far.  Have you had success?  Thanks.
