Importing qvf to Qlik Sense server

Hello

I have Qlik Sense desktop version 3.1 SR4

I have created 3 applications and now I want to import the qvf files using Qlik Sense QMC

when I import the qvf files I get an error saying Failed to Migrate selected app

I was wondering if the version of QlikSense server and desktop should be the same?

I would make them the same for sure.  That could easily cause issues.  At a minimum the server should be a newer version than the desktop and not the other way around.
