Qlikview shared file and meta file

Hi Guys can you tel me,

when .shared file is getting generated and when .meta file is getting generated?

According to my understanding once we distribute the dashboard to access point .meta file will be generated and once dashboard is accessed by any user .shared file will be generated.

How willI know when any qlikview dashboard was accessed by any user?

TO know the content of .meta and .shared u need to use qlik power tools and then convert them to .XML aftr that u can read that .xml in QLikview.

Thanx, I found that when I open my qvw file in access point both .metafile and .sharedfile will be created.

But one more question I asked if I want to know when that dashboard was last accessed in access point? will the .meta file and .shared file will be updated with the date whenever dashboard is accessed by any user?

Hi,

For this you need to check the session logs which logs the IDs of user using access point.

Hi,

Who accessed dashboard can be read in .meta.If u want bookmark details find them in .shared file.

How to read them.I gt one document plss follow the similar steps fr .shared as well.
