N Printing 17.1 error

Hi All,

when ever i try to preview N printing Report, it throws below exception.

The preview request failed with message:

Report generation failed because node CH10 of type

Qlik.Reporting.Reports.Tree.Template.ImageNode in level root.CustomerRepName_Level

received an ApplyFailureResponse from request 20708117-7a91-4268-b427-ff1eaec9563a.

Object reference not set to an instance of an object


Could some one suggest me how to debug or fix this issue.

No, not a Pivot Table.  Just previewing an Excel Report with Qlik Sense "images"

Whats the source of the Qlik Sense Image you like to preview?

It was a visualization from a Qlik Sense App

and what type of visualisation piechart/barchart/table/.... or was it a extention?

Having the same issue with Pivot Table - waiting for bug to be fixed.

Is it only preview or report cannot be generated neither. as there is no monitoring tool for tasks it is difficult to say whether task was triggered an is running or it stopped with error.

Try to update sense app id in connection, reload metadata. Reload your computer. Than try again.

I'm having this exact same issue on nPrinting 17.2.0.0.  The preview hangs and throws and error with a PixelPefect report and image of a pivot table.  Report is not generated as a tasks.  Did you get ever get this issue resolved?

I just upgraded from Nprinting 17.2.0.0 to 17.3.0.0 which came out on 02.03.2017.  This release installed without any problems and resolved this issue.

IT WORKED!!

I upgraded to 17.3 and I'm still having the same issue...

Does anyone know how to resolve it?
