QVD Data does not show up in Nprinting

Hello,

I was wondering if any one has faced a similar situation.

My QVD displays the correct data , but Nprinting suppresses the data.

Just a quick stat:

The QVD has  close to 2600 objects.

All the objects (charts) are straight tables.

Report Type: Excel report

Qlikview :11.20

Nprinting:15.6

Does Nprinting have a limitation with the number of tables?

What is causing this behavior?

Is this due to a corrupt template?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

SD

Just to clarify...there were a total of 300 charts with 'X' number of columns which resulted in 2600 objects being imported  into the template.

My NSQ/template  was corrupt and I had to recreate it. Not sure of the cause.

First of all, you meant QVW not QVD I assume?

Second, how did you create the template in the NPrinting?

Did you create 2600 charts in your NPrinting templates too?

I am just amazed  you have so many objects in the QVW...

Alex , yes I meant QVW and not  QVD !!

Created an NSQ file with the source connection pointing to the QVW.

Created the  template in excel and added all  tables. The requirement was precision formatting and this could be handled by using the properties in Excel for all the fine tuning.

So now the question is how many do you have in your templates?

Did you find there is a threshold when you add all?

Maybe upgrade your version to a higher version? If memory serves me correctly, your version may not be supported.

I would suggest you look at upgrading to NPrinting 16 which is a straightforward upgrade from v15.

Have a look at the examples here for more details on excel layout in v16

NPrinting V17 is also available but is a more significant change.

Yes, we are looking into upgrading

Qlikview :11.20  to  12.10(SR 2)

Nprinting:15.6    to   17.2.2

Should we have any concerns regarding the upgrade?

Thanks !!
