Deploying Governance Dashboard without publisher

Hi everyone,

I need to deploy the Governance Dashboard on an environment where we don't have QlikView Publisher.

I've mapped the folders, but then when I run the reload of the application an error is thrown.

Unluckily I don't have the error log with me right now (my bad).

By memory, the error was given by a file not found.

So, while I get the complete log of the execution, I would like to know if there is any kind of limitation using the Governance Dashboard with QlikView 11.20 SR15 (without Publisher)? Is there any additional configuration needed for such environments?

Many thanks

There is a bug with 2.0.2 where it doesn't dig into the subfolder, which is why I posted the 2.0.3 beta.

You can work with 2.0.2 if you put something in the exclude parameter, like 'zzzz'.

There should not be any limitation. Just make sure you are using the latest version of the Governance Dashboard (2.0.2) or the attached beta version.

Hi Tyrel,

thanks for your confirmation.

Anyway I found the issue.

In this environment we have many "parallel" folders (i.e. D:\A, D:\B, D:\C, ...).

In the Configuration sheet I set the File Path directory as the Root folder of the disk (D:\, where we don't actually have any .qvw file).

During the reload I was given an error like "Expression table not found" (I don't have the log neither neither, my bad), which was quite misleading.

After some test, I tried changing the folder to one that actually have at least a .qvw file... and it fixes the issue.

I thought that the governance would automatically cycle inside the folder and subfolders too...

Seems like I'll have to use a User configuration script and set create a concatenation of all the folders and subfolders we have

Thanks, as you understood I haven't the 2.0.3 beta version.

Putting something in the exclude parameter seems even faster, I'll try going that way then.

Thank you!
