A customer asked me if QlikView is able to handle Microsoft SQL server stored procedures with parameters in combination with direct query. We would like to give the user the opportunity to (direct) query a database by making a selection. QlikView should activate a stored procedure that queries the database based on the selection and returns the result to QlikView.
I already know that QlikView is able to handle both stored procedures and direct queries separately, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the combination. Is the combination even possible?
