Help: I added a Chart title in Qlik Sense. How do I reflect this update in NPrinting Report 17.2?

Hello,

I added chart title in my Qlik Sense app's straight table.

I would like to see this name shown in the objects list in NPrinting.

The Qlik Sense app is already linked to an NPrinting report, I have made a connection.

What do I need to do to reflect the chart title update in my NPrinting Report?

You need to reload the metadata for the Sense connection in NPrinting.

I did that but still cannot see the changes when I view the objects in report template such as Excel.

How long did you wait before reloading the metadata after saving the Sense app?

There is an internal cache for Sense such that if you reload the metadata immediately after saving the app, you may not see any changes reflected, but giving some time in between the steps, it should be displayed.

If you waited and still don't see the chart title, please open a support case as this may be a bug.

I waited about 5 minutes, made sure the following is generated:

Then I went back to the report (closed and reopened it) and no changes.

I even created a new test report to see if that will show but it does not.

This is a known issue in 17.2. It is solved in 17.3
For me was it a solution to restart the Nprtinting services. Then update the cache again and you will find your object in the designer.

Wouter is correct. There is a bug fix in 17.3 that eliminates the step of stop/restart the NP services.
