help in hiding sheets in Qlik Sense app

Hello

I got an app with section access

some users need to view sheet 1 while others cannot view sheet 1

but for the rest of the sheets all users can see the content of them

Please advise on how to accomplish this

I was able to hide/show sheets by going thru the instructions I provided in that reply.

Imp Note: To make your security work, you'd need to disable the default Stream rule defined.

But if you disable this all the apps will disappear and you need to create new rule for each person/group so that the apps are available for them.

Why Qlik are complicating things like this?!!

From your perspective it is complicated. But seen from an enterprise perspective it is extremely flexible, very symmetrical and governing every kind of object by the sames rules - so then it is not complicated.

As always it is a matter of perspectives. But of course it would be best that both perspectives made it uncomplicated.

As a developer who is moving from Qlikview to Qlik Sense I agree, the things look complicated in Sense but I'm sure it has upsides as Petter mentioned.
