Scotly,

Go to Appearance / Colors and legends.

Then choose custom colors and then select multi coloured..

Now you can see different colours in the bars..

Hello Scotly,

Open the application in Edit mode and follow given steps:

1. Select the chart and go to the Colors and Legend (Under Appearance tab)

2. Select Custom Colors; Opt for By measure option

3. Click Down Sign Arrow and define a measure. e.g. Sum(CYSales)

This will change the color of chart based on measure value.

Hope this will be helpful.

Regards!

Hi Victor,

Without value list, its impossible to apply custom color in a bar char (default qlik object).

I would recommend you to use an EXTENSION.

Here are two extension which might be useful to you:

1. Barplus

2. amCombo

Both extensions will serve your purpose.

Hi Scotly,

This can easily be done in Qlik Sense 3.2

Add your measure to the library

Define a color in the edit measure dialog

Color by multicolored and make sure that "Use library measure colors" is on

Hi Scotly,

In Qliksense application there are some limitation to apply our desire colour.

you can follow below listed solutions for your problem.

  1. Use Multicolored  Option and adjust position of the expression. For example set Sum(CYSales) measure as second position and Sum(PYSales) as first position in measure. So it'll solve your problem.                                                Qliksense pass the multicolored sequence Blue,Red,Yellow so as per your requirement set position of the measure.Expression Position.PNG

Don't forgot to set Multicolored option.

2. If Possible then use Extension.

Thanks,

Ishan
