NPrinting Designer is slow

I use NPrinting 17.2.2 and create a Report.

When I edit the template and click the Preview Button it takes a few Minutes to see the Report, sometimes it goes to timeout.

QVW is very small with only1 Variable..

What is wrong or what can I do??

Hi,

we are also experiencing very slow response from nPrinting Designer.

We've got nPrinting 17.2.0 with Qlik Sense 3.1.

nPrinting Designer takes a long time to open when I click "Edit template" from Report Overview and report preview also takes a few minutes to generate even when working with very small apps and have very few details on nPrinting report. Sometimes it hits timeout.

Did you manage to solve that problem or have any clue how to fix it? I'm probably going to register a case on tech support.

Same problem here but mostly when editing PixelPerfect reports.

With NPrinting 17.3 and designing a PixelPerfect Report, it is also very slow.

Maybe can sjw‌‌ or djk‌‌ give us an answer? Or just a tip how we can improve the performance?

Pleas upgrade to a version later than 17.2.0.

17.2.1 contained significant improvements to the preview process.

Does the report contain a lot of levels?

No, it contains one level. But without any level i does a long time till the designer is opened..

Reduce objects , reduce data , increase server memory capacity , switch from opening nprinting designer on your local machine to the server .

is you are using excel template?  if yes remove the rows below may be that also will take as size of the report.
