Qlik Sense Ports Opening - 4244 & 443

Hi guys,

In the Qlik Sense Help - yes, it did says.

Service	Port	Direction	Purpose
QPS	443	Inbound	Inbound user web traffic when using HTTPS.
QPS	4244	Inbound	Authentication port when using Windows authentication over HTTPS.
QPS	80	Inbound	Inbound user web traffic when using HTTP (optional).
QPS	4248	Inbound	Authentication port when using Windows authentication over HTTP (optional).

But I need to send a Ports Opening Request to the company network team. Network team would want to know, what are the ports in to open up ???

And from which SOURCE to which DESTINATION.

I think Destionation for port 4244 will be the Qlik Sense Server. but where is the Source going to be ???

Hi Jim,

Yes, you're correct that they're inbound ports to the server.

If you're only planning on using https, then you won't need 80 / 4248

The requests will be coming from the end user's browsers, so there's no particular origin.
