DNS forward causes internal server error

Hi!

Our QLik Sense hub is available over the following URL:

https://<my-ip>/hub/my/work

However we would like to create a more human readable url for our keyusers.

Our admin team has created a dns forward  to the hub ip by calling https://bi.

When i call that url in the browser the hub with all my apps is shown correctly but then i get

a info dialog saying 'Internal server error'.

I chekd the log folder (C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log) for any hints but coudnlt find anything.

Can somebody give me a hint what the problem could be?

Thanks a lot.

Have you trying adding an additional virtual proxy with the new address https://bi in QMC ?

Hello,

first of all sorry for the late reply.

I have looked at virtual proxies but im not quite sure if this is the right way or maybe i just dont know what to set there.

To my understanding the URL setup is the following: https://[node]/[prefix].

With a virtual proxy i can set up a new prefix, right?

What i need is to set up a new name for the node.
