Change Chart Type in extension

Hi to all,

I'm new in extension developmnent, I create a new simple extensions that adds a new property to a chart.

When I use my extension the chart type is bar-horizontal, How can I change the chart type to linear?

Yes, i find the Documentation of barchart properties.

I have written the extension starting from chart template.

What i can not do is change the chart type from horizzontal bar to linear.

It is possible?
