Nprinting Reports not showing up in the QlikSense Hub

Hi,

I have installed NPrinting and connection setup was successful.

When creating reports, I can see the reports in the NewsStand but I could not find them in the QlikSense Hub.

Although i gave the right address to the Hub in Central Node Address.

The Central Node address is from the Qlik Sense Nodes- Host name

But my Hub in Qlik Sense is not showing up the reports.

Also my users are not getting emails with the reports.

Any thoughts?

Hi Gianluca,

My bad!! I will explain it better now.

I have two environements:

1st - Production Environment

QlikSense Server - Hub is the place where all the apps are present. We were trying to establish the connection between QlikSense Server Hub and QlikSense NPrinting so that the Reports from Nprinting publishes in the Server Hub. When i open up the QlikSense Server Hub, I am able to see the reports but different users who are assigned by me to view these reports in their Hub are not able to see them.

One of the possibilities was that if i assigned the right users in the right ways in NPrinting Reports.

So Yes, I did it in the right way i suppose. I assigned them all the reports and asked to Publish in the hub.

2nd - Development Environment

Here the NPrinting reports are neither publishing to QlikSense Server Hub for me nor fro the users.

Hi Aman,

let's start with the second question: If you're trying to use the same NPrinting installation with two different Sense environments, please consider that this isn't a supported scenario:

Regarding the first question, the only requisite is that you add the destination users as recipients and that you enable the hub destination for them. Please consider that these users must have at least the "NewsstandUser" role in order to receive reports in their Hub.

Hi Gianluca,

For the first scenario: I spoke to Qlik Support and they said that the error i was getting : Error 409, is a bug and it will be fixed in NPrinting 17.3 SR 1. It is supposed to release this week. I will test it and see if its successful.

For scenario second: I have purchased a NPrinting for my test environment also. So I am trying this version here. So they are completely different NPrinting installations.

So, I upgraded to NPrinting 17.3 SR1.

That was a known Bug. The problem is solved now.

Hello Aman,

I know this post is very old and it is marked an answered, though I couldn't resist myself to ask a question here. It might be silly one, apologies if it is.

If I want to distribute a report in qliksense hub to a set of users. I understand their user Ids should be present in qliksense system. is it like they should have a token assigned to view the report? Or a user can view a report published from Npritning in qliksense hub irrespective of the case whether he has user access pass assigned or not. Please suggest

A token or access pass is not required to consume reports in the hub.
