Task Failure notifications

I have had a look and can't find anything on this (sorry if posted in the wrong group)

If I have set up a Task in QMC (reload app data, or AD Sync etc) is there a way to get Qlik to notify you that the task failed (other than looking at the task details in Task section of QMC)?

Hi Barry,

At the moment you ned to rely on a third party solution.  The following thread suggest a project from Qlik branch that may be suitable:
