Qlik Sense Installation Issue

Hi Everyone

I a trying to install Qlik sense in my machine

The installation is successfull, but post that I can not see it anywhere. I cannot see the icon on my desktop, i cannot see any qlik sense related files in C drive and neither can i see qlik sense in the list of apps in my ,machine.

What could be the probable issue?

Which version are your tried to install it? and what is your system environment? can you your screen shot or

There are two places the Logs are stored on the server:

1. C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log

2. C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Repository\Archived Logs

qlik sense desktop - installation log file (u can fine below path)

C:\Users\user_folder\Documents\Qlik\Sense\Log

I have windows 8 on my machine.

I am trying to install qlik sense desktop 3.1 SR4

None of these folders are created but i get installation successful message.

You may not have administrator permissions '??

It will only install on a 64Bit OS.  Is yours 64Bit?

Hi All

Not sure how it worked, but I installed an old setup of qlik sense which on opening said this version is expired. Then I upgraded this to latest version and it was installed successfully.
