Cache Error in NPrinting

Hi All,

I am trying to create a connection in NPrinting but the cache status is showing "Generating" only.I thought it might vary from application to application so left like this overnight but still in the morning too ,it is showing generating.

Can any of you please help me by suggesting what can be the cause ?

Can you tell these questions

1) File Size of your enterprise

2) Can you share Logfile of QVW from your desktop

3) Finally, Could be reason some where got error.

4) Do you reload your metadata of your reports

Hi Anil,

PFB

1.File Size - 28MB

2. Logfile -Not abler to copy log file from server

3. Reload Metadata -

By this,do u mean reload application,yes I have reloaded.

28 MB Means, Not that much bigger. Something happen with that. Can you tell us which way you are connecting to document. I mean to localhost / From Server??

I am not sure, Exactly what will be the happen on your case. Do you create one more simple report and then check how it shows. Or simple do Reload metadata again.

I added just a new qvw with no data at all,still it is saying generating only.

I think there is some other issue

Issue in your connection. Connection status should show 'OK' then it will load the metadata. Can you describe more

and Path?

Hi Vinod,

As per my understanding of what you are asking - PFB.

Source - We are pulling the data from SNOW Database.

Type - ODBC

Path - The file is kept inside "C:\ServiceNxt Source Documents\RSA_ServiceNxt\RSA_ServiceInsight.qvw"

Please let me know if you were looking for something else.

Also,As suggested somewhere in qlik community,

1. Stop NPrinting services

2. Delete the NPrinting folder in c:\programdata

3. Start NPrinting services

I stopped all services ,deleted the folder but I am not able to start qlik nprinting engine service again.
