A Quick Question - you want the user to reload the Qlikveiw Applications from Browsers (like Internet Explorer, Chrome)?

As far as i know, you cannot reload the application from Browsers.

But an ideas (Not sure whether it would work or not , i have not tested). As you said creat a button on layout which open up the Qlikview Desktop version (i.e QV Developer, in this case user should have bith desktop version and thin client as well) and reload, save and close the application using macro. I know its an messeya and stupid idea...!! Check whether this works or not ( i dnt have server installed on my sys to test this)

You could also check the dynamic update of the data which is the new feature from QV 9.

I already checked! Qlikview desktop that macro is working, but through browsers not working?

Hi, This macro Never going to help. You need to launch the Qlikview s/w i.e. QV.exe and open the Qlikview application which you want to open and reload.

This ActiveDocument.Reload () wont work.

Do you have a Publisher license or just QlikView Server?

If you have publisher installed you can trigger the reload task from on an eternal event.
