Were looking at limiting who can create QVDs in a particular folder in Qlik Sense, though we want everyone to read that folder. When I attempted to use a data connection with a username and password who only has access to read from that folder they were still able to store. It looks like the QVDs are getting written by the Qlik Sense services user even when I add user details in the data connection.
I was wondering if there was an additional set of controls I needed to have in place in order to limit their connection to the data?
