How to arrange months sequentially in Qlik Sense?

I want to arrange months sequentially like ;

Jan-2016

Feb-2016

Mar-2016

But, in my application it displays as;

Sep-2016

Feb-2016

Oct-2016

Can you help us how to get months sequentially like the I mentioned above?

If it is a chart, move the field [Months] on the "Sort" tab to the topmost line and set the "Ascending"

First of all, check the Sort options Are they sorted in Load order, or not sorted?

To order months like these, make sure they are proper date (or monthname) values. Then they will sort correctly if they are sorted in numeric order. If the months are text, you can convert them like this in your load script:

Date#(MonthField, 'MMM-yyyy') as MonthField

Now sort them numerically.
