Hi Vasiliy,

The function FieldElemNo() is present in environment QlikView, but it is not in Qlik Sence, and all the values it will result in -3. Maybe this is an out-of-date function, inferred from circulation?

Regards,

Andrey

I tried in on my data data (string and numeric with different lengths) and the result is still -3.

In Qlik Sense desktop you can find and use it in expression editor in frontend.

Кароче я так понял, что это ненужная в сенсе функция, которую разрабы забыли убрать со времен вью.

In the picture above, it seems like there is no this function in the hint list. And in the code on it QS "swears"

Cześć,

I don't know exactly how FieldElemNo works, but I found sollution for this to use: FieldIndex('MapaCRM',MapaCRM). MapaCRM is my field name. This show number of field element.

Now we can use sth like this: Pick(FieldIndex('MapaCRM',MapaCRM),exp1,exp2,...).

BR,

Ludwik
