Reloading SharePoint data into apps in QMC scheduled job

Hi there,

We have an established QlikView platform where many apps are reloaded and distributed via QMC pulling data from our data warehouse. QMC uses a service account to do this.

We have a new requirement to use SharePoint as a data source. We can open the SharePoint lists from the server in a browser, so all the firewall are open. But when we try and reload the app via QMC it fails. I think because this service account doesn't have permissions on SharePoint (and apparently it can't have).

Has anyone done this before: reloading SharePoint data into apps in QMC scheduled jobs?

Hi,

You can try changing the user that run the service to a user that have permissions in the SharePoint.

You need to change the user for QlikViewDistributionService.

Go to Services => double click on  QlikViewDistributionService > Log On > change This Account.
