Changing column header color

Hello,

I was wondering if there was a way to change the background color for individual column headers? For example, I would like to make one column header blue and another black to distinguish both columns from each other. Thanks!

Right click on the column header of the pivot table and select "Custom Format cell"... there change the background color.

Correct Reshma! This is a very straightforward way to change column color for headers on pivot tables.

Additionally I want to clarify that you have to apply the "Custom Format cell" separately for dimensions and expressions.

yes, it's possible to change the colour of particular headers in straight table, but it's a bit confusing to understand, but it works
