Opening the "Edit Script" window is slow.

Hello,

I always open the "Edit Script" window with the Ctrl + e keys and it always worked well and fast. A few weeks ago I opened one .qvw document which in my opinion is not that big or complicated. In this particular document the window started to take considerably longer to open. Then, this same thing started happening every time with every document I open. It even happens with new empty documents.

Anyone has any idea why this happens?

Hello Eldad,

In my specific case, I could not find a solution. The thing is, it is faster now though I did nothing special. Maybe updating to SR12 helped a little but it is still slower than it initially was. Have you tried the solutions Fred and Bill suggested?

I found the reason for that.

In the "edit script" take a look how many connection option you have.... one of them is causing the problem.

in my case it was QVSManager Batch Tool. after i erase it, the problem solved.

How do you remove connectors?

Just remove the files under %CommonProgramFiles%

%CommonProgramFiles% = 'C:\Program Files\Common Files' on most systems but it may be translated ('Fichiers communs' in french for example)
