Date (in date format) + days(in numbers)

Hi all,

Please help me solve this. How can I put in the F(x) as in above title as measure?. I want to subtract manufacturing date (dd-mm-yy) with shelf life (days in figure)

what I did is

[Manufacturing date]-[Shelf Life]..which if to interpret, eg:

(01-01-2017) + 720

but it seems that qlik sense can't read it. your respond is highly appriciated.

May be your date is not read as date by Qlik Sense..... Read these articles here

Doesn't matter if you are Qlik Sense desktop or Qlik Sense enterprise or QlikView. The basic of dates remain the same.
