Hi Community,
Is there any way to export fields from only synthetic table only.
-Priya
Hi Priya,
You cant export fields from synthetic table . It is Virtual table just for visualization.
You can take table box and take all those common fields and export it.
Thanks,
Arvind patil
why should you do that?
Just build a link table manually and save it...
we need to understand that how many fields are common between 2 tables or many then will take some decission
TABLE:1
LOAD
X as $KEY1,
X as X_LOCAL
------------------------
TABLE:2
LOAD
Y as $KEY1,
Y as Y_LOCAL
--> then put for example Y_LOCAL, X_LOCAL and $KEY into a table box and then you see what Keys are common...
BEFORE LOADING WE DON'T KNOW HOW FIELDS ARE COMMON.
ok, you LOAD unclear data into QlikView and try to export the syntethic link tables for clarifying which fields to rename?!?
Hi Priya,
On your Qlikview document press CTRL + T. This would show you the Qlikview tables and their relationships.
the Syn key table will show you all the fields which are duplicated or looped many times.
