Qlikview Server Slowness & Server Trouble

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi All,

I have installed Qlikview Server 12.0 on a single machine of 64 GB RAM. We are using only server License and not Publisher License.

While accessing the Accesspoint Link for Dashboards, its taking much time to open the dashboard and It resulted in slowness suddenly.

And while connecting to server through remote desktop connection, its taking more time to get logged into server.

At some point of time, the server is not getting accessible and unable to check dashboards on accesspoint.

Are there any measures to get rid of these issues and some points for not getting server disconnected.?

Thanks,

Kp

Sounds like possible issue with memory leak, have you tried monitoring the RAM usage on the server?

The best thing you can do is monitor CPU & RAM usage on your QlikView Server, either through Task Manager (Performance tab) if your machine locks up rather quickly after a service restart, or through Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Performance Monitor if it takes some time before your system bcomes unusable.

Always restart the QlikView services before starting to monitor your resources (or simply restart your server).

It's no use to try to implement fixes if you don't know what you should fix.

Yes Gareth, RAM usage is in normal state when accessing through accesspoint.

What about accessing the dashboards on the server?

Not via remote desktop but actually sat at the server console. If the dashboard isn't slow on the server then it would point towards a network issue.
