I am trying to work out how to create a variance column in a table. So if you select Jan, Feb and Mar, I would like that to be compared to the Q1 Budget and display how much the spending went over or under. And if you select Apr, May, June I want that to be compared to Q2 budget and so on...
To my untrained eyes, that seems quite complicated but I assume that it must be possible and that others have wanted to do similar things.
I have attached an app that I made for these purposes so, if possible, please can you demonstrate the solution on the app.
