Qlik cloud with dropbox using access

Hello!

I would like to use the data from microsoft access' database, which is in dropbox.

I have found this video:

Dropbox and Qlik REST Connector - Proof of Concept - YouTube

But I don't know if i could connect to access after and how to do this.

Thanks in advance.

From a number of file types you can simply create a DropBox link, and change the download flag to 1, like this:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/LicencesByClient.xls?dl=1

I'm not sure this approach will work with Access though.

Could you have a local app that prepares the data by loading it from Access and storing it back to the same DropBox as a QVD?  This could be done in Sense Desktop, Sense Enterprise or QlikView.

I got a possible solution with your answer.

I can't use access files with this method but I can use csv files, enough for me.

Thanks!
