Misc Variable not created?

I just realized that on the latest version of the QDF (1.7.0)  there is a 9.Misc folder but there is no vG.MiscPath variable created. Is that possible? Am I missing something?

Hi Luciano, there is no Misc variable as misc is intended for other content than config/scripts/data... things like documentation, extensions, backups...

Hope that this helps?

Cheers

Thank you Magnus!

So you mean that the Misc folder should not be accessed from the scripts.

I am wondering where the QDF people usually store log files in the container(s). Eg. Log files created using Qlik Components routines. I might start another discussion for this

Good question, I would probably store it under 5.Config/Log but that is not the best fit. We could add an optional Log folder in the schema that you manually need to add (as physical folder to get the global variable). Got another request for a Data folder that could be added at the same time. But for now please use one of the current container folders.

Regards

Magnus

Thank you Magnus, I would probably choose Export/Log though
