Qlikview Version: 10.0.8935.7
OS: Windows Server 2003, IIS 6
Problem:
I’ve installed QlikView this morning, and started off usingNtlm Authentication, and it worked fine. But we need to use a Custom Directoryas all our users will not be in the same domain (or even on the same network).
What I have done is the following:
I created the custom directory:
Then I added a user:
On the server the setup is as follows:
I changed IIS so that the QvAJAXYfc folder has got anonymous access ENABLED and Windows Authentication DISABLED anndAccessPointSettings.aspx has got Anononymous Access DISABLED and Windows Authentication ENABLED as per the QV support document attached to another thread on this topic.
But I still can’t log in (tried a fewalternatives):
Whatelse do I need to do to be able to log on?
My Qlikview Server Authentication looks like this:
I found something interesting, when I restart the Qlikview services the DirectoryServiceConnector log reads:

Why would it says webserver security is set to Ntlm when I have set it through the QEMC to Custom user?
