cannot open http://localhost:4848/hub/my/work after installing qliksense desktop

hi,

I cannot access the below url when I have installed qliksense desktop 3.1 in my machine:

Http://localhost:4848/hub/my/work

Also when I open Qliksense sense it shows a blank white page and not opening completely.

Any suggestions how to solve it?

Hi,

make sure your server is up and running. can you try like below URL

http://<host Name/ IP address>/hub/my/work

http://<host Name/ IP address>/hub

What is the service name that I have to check that Qlik Server is running at my local machine?

On your local machine you just need to have the Qlik Sense Desktop running as that acts as the QlikSense Server & Web Server so you can then access it via a local web browser.

you need open Qlik sense desktop first and access link Http://localhost:4848/hub/my/work and remember do not close it while access link

Hi,

by d way, we see your error screen shot?

You can in may way (via physical server --> services.msc, qmc, etc). the easy one if you have qmc access just check whether the qliksense  service is running or not?

Status check URL via qliksense qmc

Hi! Qlik Sense Desktop 3.1 has expired and does not work anymore. That is why you see a blank screen. You need to update to at least 3.2 SR3.

in my local machine QlikSense desktop is not running and it always shows a blank page whenever I opened it.

What should be the problem? do u know this?

Hi,

Can you check my previous thread. better download latest qliksense Jun 2017 or 3.2 version.

work around option in 3.1

1) clear %temp%,

2) Try to Kill if any qliksense process running on your desktop  via task manager.

When done, go to windows menu / Qlik Sense / Qlik sense desktop (not the one shortcut installed during setup) or go to C:\Users\[yourUserName]\AppData\Local\Programs\Qlik\Sense\QlikSenseBrowser

and right-click "Run as an administrator".

QS Desktop 3.1 is not gonna work. It has expired. Check this link:
