Hi Fellas,

Need help over binary load in QLIK SENSE.

getting the attached error. Unable to figure out the reason exactly.

--I am not using section access in my application.

Attaching Qlik services screenshot as well. Here I am not that ./biadmin. I am using another user with root admin rights

Thanks in advance!

Yes, but maybe the message refers to can´t access a .qvf file that isn´t there.

Please create an empty qvf file (with your QSD or exporting using QMC) save into that folder and try to binary load it

Hi,

I have done as you suggested!

Kudos! I am able to take Binary from the exported file (from the same folder)

Now can you please suggest what should I do to take the binary of the FILE format App.

2.  Does App stores anywhere else then this location Qliksensedata>apps.?

Noticed, There is a LOCK File available with the same App ID as attached.

Thanks!

I don´t think you can do a binary from app folder

Searching community https://community.qlikview.com/thread/145725

"The issue here is that while binary load is supported in Qlik Sense,  binary load must source the QVF through a folder data connection.   An published or unpublished application that is in the Qlik Sense server repository is not accessible to a binary load because it doesn't have a referenceable file location."

Reading documentation: http://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense/September2017/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Scripting/ScriptRegularStateme...

"Limitations:

You cannot use binary to load data from an app on the same Qlik Sense Enterprise deployment by referring to the app ID. You can only load from a .qvf file."
