I want my data to update automatically. I am planning to create a view within Qliksense data load editor. Is it possible ? If so how to load data.

Else do I need to create view in SQL in that way, will the data will update automatically.

Help me out.

You can schedule your data with required frequency.

Santhoh,

If you are using Qlik Sense desktop, it is not possible to automatically reload data.  This can only be done manually.

If you are using Qlik Sense Server, then in the QMC you would create a reload task.  Open the QMC, select the Tasks option.  From there at the bottom you can select 'create new'.  This will allow you to define a scheduled task to automatically refresh your application.

Hope this helps.

Hi

"If you are using Qlik Sense desktop, it is not possible to automatically reload data."

Have a look at this thread. It seems that this can be done using batch scripts. I still need to work out how to do this

Qliksense Cloud export on shared app

Hi Robert,

We ran into a similar problem at our end, for which we created batch scripts to run the QVW from Private edition to create qvds or csvs and store them in a dropbox folder and created a web file connection string in qlik sense.

Robert,

The post you mention is for exporting from a Qlik Cloud application.  I believe he is asking how to automatically load data.

Unless there are new API's, it is not possible in desktop version.  I believe this is by design.
