How to drill in missing value ?

Hi All

I have a table it working fine when i click on list full segmentation list.

But when i click on Core segmentation list.

The table display one of the segment = missing value . which is minus sign.

When i click on minus sign to drill in . I am unable to do so.

Can some one advise me how to drill in missing value ? in order for me to figure out the sales value from which company ?

It's not possible unless you replaced the NULL/MISSING with a real value within the datamodel. Here you will find a very good explanation what are the reasons for NULL and how could you deal with:

NULL handling in QlikView

Hi Marcus

I have read the article , and it teach me i can hide the null dimension.

The issue is if i hide , the value on null diamension will be disappear.

Please read the posting again - it contained a lot more informations about the NULL handling than just hiding NULL's within the ui. There are various kinds of NULL's and also multiple ways how to deal with them - each one with some benefits and disadvantages and beside the efforts to understand the general topic you will need some time to consider the most suitable approach for your use-case.

One addition for possible replacing-approaches is this one: Filling Default Values Using Mapping | Qlikview Cookbook.

You need to analyse the source data, the data model and your expressions..
