Yes it is. We have our Qlik Dev in AWS where AMI get terminated every 3 months and .We are looking for automate the installation of qliksense in AWS on Windows server 2012 R2 server,

how come your EBS get terminated too? You should keep your AMI and launch it with cloudformation. OR you can use a small Linux samba box for file share and RDS for configuration.

How do we create the cloudformation template for the existing environment ? Could you please us.

pretty sure there is a wizard now that will take you through building a cloudformation template of an existing environment.... have a look at the cloudformation area in the management console of AWS

Is there a way to do the silent installation share persistence.

I've succeeded in central node but not the rim not to join the cluster.

I tried removing the comment in the spc.cfg file for rim node. and below is the log created. but did not install the application on the rim node server.

I have localdb in central, all services in central node is running and

for cental I choose:

rimnode=0 desktopshortcut=1 skipstartservices=1 installdir =

whereas for rim node,

rimnode=1 rimnodetype=Engine desktopshortcut=1 skipstartservices=1 installdir

correct me if I'm wrong
