using self signed certificate on qliksense server.

hi all,

the current installation doesn't have any certificate installed, now the user doesnt want to access the server from the internet , just wants to remove the warning page that comes at the first log in.

is it possible to use self signed certificate  in order to be added to the proxy.

if there is any document it would be very much appreciated.

Sincerely

So the idea is.. Your network team should be able to generate a Self Signed certificate and then those certs will have to imported on proxy server.

If they use only internal connections and sending data in plain text is not a problem you can enable the http channel which doesn't require any certificate.

Using the https and the default self-signed certs, another option is installing that certs as trusted in each client machine.

@vincenzo how one would enable the Https channel, are you referring to the enabling https from qms under proxies ??

Vincenzo_Esposito

Https is enable by default, you can enable http (disable by default) in QMC —-> proxy —> Ports
