Problem with Round()

Hello,

I have the following problem in QS Desktop September 2017:

Round(9.745, 0.01) returns 9.74 and not 9.75

However, e.g. Round(5.745, 0.01) returns the correct value of 5.75

What could be the problem? Thanks!

I don't think this is a Qlik related problem.... it is more universal problem http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/rounding-error

Thank you Sunny!

This is bad news. I have been trying to find a solution for weeks and unfortunately, it seems that nothing can be done... Qlik should address this somehow, I cannot accept that such an advanced software cannot round numbers as expected.

It's doubtful that Qlik will change the behavior on this.  If you want an explanation as to why, read this thread:

Behaviour of the Round function

There are solutions if you want round to behave as you are expecting. Read two solutions here.

Round Off the number 0.1500 to 0.2
