How to show color for alternate rows as shown in attachment in QV pivot table and straight table.

I meant :could you post a screenshot of your expression background?

setting-> user preferences-> check always show design menu items

go to the table -> propeties -> style-> strip every 1 rows

hover mouse on a cell of the table -> right click on  cell  -> custom format cell -> change the back ground color -> apply change to all dimension

click apply and you are done with your requirement ..
