import recipients from QS repository possible?

I'v never worked with NP 17, but i assume you can't connect directly to LDAP.

What are the options in NP to import recipients (email address etc) besides using a file or SQL database?

Is it possible to create a Qlik Sense app where you use the REST connector to extract the users from the QS repository, and after that use this Qlik Sense app as source for NP 17 to import recipients? So this would mean use the email address, groups and custom properties.

At the moment I've only been able to import users using the file template although I know in the new versions there are more connectivity options coming. I'm using 17.3.
