Unbalanced QVS Clustering with IIS?

Hi there,

we have a cluster with different CPUs specs. And because of this we want to activate Unbalanced Cluster.
In the documentation (Unbalanced QVS Clustering ‒ QlikView) you configure the webserver config (step 2) , our cluster works with IIS. How can we configure this there? Or does the IIS use the QVWS settings?
Can there happen some issues, when we don´t use the qlikview webserver?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Christian,

Have you installed the QlikView Settings Service on the IIS server and followed the configuration steps outlined here? That would need to be done as well.

Hope this helps,

Chip

Hi Chip,
thanks for your answer and help.
We installed the QlikView Settings Service on the IIS server and configured it like the outlined steps.
So now we only have to add '<add key="ActivateUnbalancedCluster" value="true"/>' on the QVWebServerSettingsService.exe.config and the IIS will work with unbalanced Cluster?

And here we can also customize the weights of the algorithm?

Thanks in advance.
