Qlik Sense Hub URL, how to hide/remove authentication port(4248,4244) in the URL?

hi guys,

This is my scenario - when i browse my Qlik Sense Hub - www.myqliksense.com - it will go to:

www.myqliksense.com:4244/form/?targetId=eb5eb4a1-41b8-4a5a-b6d2-a4a2b224cd85.

so how can i hide the authentication port-4244 in the url?

Please give some advise..

We use a URL like yours to access our Enterprise Hub.  At no point does it display any of the ports in the URL as I navigate around apps and sheets.

I suspect this is controlled in your DNS and possibly in the White List of your Virtual Proxy in the QMC.  But not exactly sure.

Maybe you could provide more specifics on how you are setup.

Hi Mark,

Let me show you the flow:

I type in my qlik sense hub url and then i press search or enter:

1) www.myqliksense.com

it change to this URL, type in username and password, press enter

2)  www.myqliksense.com:4244/form/?targetId=eb5eb4a1-41b8-4a5a-b6d2-a4a2b224cd85

it changes back to this URL.

3) www.myqliksense.com/hub/my/work

MY problem is.... in the step 2 - how to hide the port number? or how to configure it doest show STEP number 2? just direct from step 1 to step 3?

Mark,

maybe u r accessing single sign on environment , u wont be able to see the port number and the target ID all sorts of things.

But in my client envionment... is using FORM based. which required user to key in username and password.

We sync our users with Active Directory.  So they are not prompted to login after the first time they do it.
