Importing .zip (a report on NP September release) to NP 17.2.0.0

There is a report in Power Point that was made in NP September release, and I would like to know if I can import this to NP 17.2.0.0.

I have the .zip (generated by NP) and I'm trying with:

  1. Create a new report in Qlik NPrinting 17.0.0.0 or higher.
  2. Click Edit template to open the Template Editor.
  3. Click Import Report.
  4. Navigate your folders until you find the compressed interchange file.
  5. Select the file and click Open.

Then, a message error :  "You have selected an invalid file".

- The office version is the same on both NP.

Hi Laura,

Those steps are to import reports created in versions 15.6.x & 16.x into 17.x.

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/September2017/Content/ReportsDevelopment/Import-reports.htm

This workaround may work for you: NPrinting duplicate report

I would to suggest you to keep your two installations at the same version, the latest. Then you could use the native report import and export feature https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/September2017/Content/ReportsDevelopment/Import-export-report-...

Best Regards,

Ruggero
