Merge two multi boxes

I have two multi boxes that have two values each. A list of subjects and the scores. I would like to be able to select a subject and a score from each multi box and have the result displayed in a table.

So

MultiBox 1                             MultiBox 2

Maths 10                              Commerce 5

English 12                             Statistics 6

Physics 11                             English  4

Chemistry 10                         Maths 3

In the final table, i would like to see

Maths 10

Commerce 5

If these are the criteria i selected to filter on

You want to see

Maths 10 Commerce 5 in the same column in a table? is that so?

Well, maths would in a column, and the score would be in another column

OmarBenSalem

well then just create a simple table; and add your 2 dimensions as 2 columns?

How would i filter with the multibox?

OmarBenSalem

you click on math from your multiBox1 and in your table, you'll have math in a column and commerce in the second one

give it a try..

A couple of questions.

- You said "multibox". Is this Qlik Sense or QlikView?

- Do the two boxes contain the same fields?

QLikview.

Yes, two boxes contain two columns each. Which are the same. Box 1:

Subject, Score. Box 2. Subject, Score.

So you want to do a comparative analysis between what you select in Box 1 vs what you select in Box 2?  For that you'll want to use Alternate States.  Read up on Alternate States in the help and take a look at examples available here on the forum.

I have read up on it. I want both values to be displayed in the same table.

Sort of like using qlikview as a reporting tool.
