RE:conditional report

Hi

rpc

Lech Miszkiewicz .

djk

devarasu07

i have one issue.

like   for example i have reports scheduled every month 4th [ this reports are latest month only]

so now my concern is   from database data is not uploaded this month so no reload from qlik aswell  so now in nprinting reports last month

data will send to customer which is not correct.

what is the alternate for this?    is there any trigger /conditional thing to be applied  to avoid this?

Best

Chanty

Hi Chanty,

Create the variable in your QlikView document like this:

If the document has been reloaded today the value of IsQVReloaded will be -1

Use that variable exactly as in Ruggero's solution.

Remember that you have to customize the function that defines the variable in order to met your specific requirements. To do this you have to use normal QlikView functions.

The variable I suggested comes from an example that is designed to check if a QlikView document is reloaded daily.

About -1 or 0 refer to Relational operators ‒ QlikView‌. "All relational operators compare the values of the operands and return True (-1) or False (0) as the result. All relational operators are binary."

So -1 is the value for True in QlikView.  🙂

I hope this helps.

Best Regards,

Ruggero
