Remember that you have to customize the function that defines the variable in order to met your specific requirements. To do this you have to use normal QlikView functions.
The variable I suggested comes from an example that is designed to check if a QlikView document is reloaded daily.
About -1 or 0 refer to Relational operators ‒ QlikView. "All relational operators compare the values of the operands and return True (-1) or False (0) as the result. All relational operators are binary."
So -1 is the value for True in QlikView. 🙂
