To be honest I'd let them use the built in app overview and sheet navigation, Save on your screen space rather than replicate core functionality.

If you have the resources to use mashups, you can achive any level of customization you want, but the downside is that you need web development knwoledge to do it properly. If that's not the case, I agree with Andy and I'll go with the built in app.

oh nop  this I have tried this using sense-navigation-master navigation extension but is there any way or extension available ?

Does this you are looking sub-menu when hover??

Some more looks like  sense-navigation-master but it creates lot of space between objects  so looking for design menu extension which will occupy less space in between.
